Lesbians – How Many Different Types of Stereotypes Are There?
Us gay men have a million-and-one different ‘subdivisions’ – we’re either a bear or a twink or an otter or a wolf or a chub, sub, cub….the list is endless.
I actually don’t agree with this culture of creating so many pigeon holes and then being pushed to define yourself as one or the other, but I’m interested to see if gay women have the same issue, and if so, what are the stereotypes that the gay or straight culture came up with?
Butch, lipstick lesbian, soft butch… and that’s all I know about.
