What you should do your best to avoid in trying or doing in Brazil!
OK right here is another one of those helpful or not so helpful travel guides with a twist. This time instead of boring you all with something that you should try on holiday, here is a list of things that you should do your best to avoid. I don’t want to put the fear into anyone; however it is important to note that some of these things could be specific to you.
Although looking different is nice, sometimes it can make you look like a target. Now i don’t want to patronise you, but just make sure you look after your money, even more so in Brazil. As soon as someone can spot you over and over again, you become their target.
Be wary of what you drink. Do not drink the Tap water, always ask for bottled. There are some nasty bugs in the water that may not agree with your tummy, so best to stick with the bottles stuff. If you drink a fair amount of the tap water, you could find yourself in a bathroom holiday!
just make sure you stay near your Tour guide, this will need to be repeated, more people do it than normal. It is impossible for me to even begin to explain how stupid some people can be. Do not leave your guide when your in an unfamiliar place. This country does consist of several nasty little creatures.
Being rude isn’t going to get you very far. When you get given a great piece of advice, like, to treat people as you would like to be treated, then you should really heed their advice. Be as passive as possible, don’t get in peoples way and do not try to annoy anyone, i know it’s a lot to ask but don’t. Treat these people with respect, if you do you will find they are very friendly.
Brazil holidays are becoming very popular, just keep in mid the above, even if you are on Luxury holidays. If this isn’t something that you are interested in then I can recommend more relaxing holidays like; Cuba holidays or Egypt holidays.
