Putter Toe Hit

putter toe hit
Why Should I consider putting 3, 4 and 5 footers one-handed?

If the game of golf isn’t hard enough, I’m right-handed and play the game left-handed. I’m asking this question because I am no Phil Mick. I feel that my dominant hand (right hand) negatively influences my short putts. Problem is my left hand is too passive in the stroke and causes me to open the blade, hitting most putts out on the toe and pushing most putts left of the hole. I am tossing around the idea of either buying a right-handed putter for short putts ( is that even within the rules?) or just learning how to putt one handed with my left hand only. Advice?

cross hand would work. perfect example. putting with one hand is a very good drill. please no insult intended. it is not your dominate hand causing the problem. it is your dominate eye. the blade looks square but in in fact open. try to move eye line over the ball. have person hold shaft of club over golf ball or just straight. they will tell you your eyes are way off the line. if your eyes are 6 feet away from ball at address. everything pushed. worth a try. think you will find this the case. good luck to you.
