The right elbow in the golf swing seems tucked for most pros does it matter?
From what i have seen most Pga tour pros tuck the elbow in on the backswing but Jim furyk Fred couples and many others do not does it matter? If you swing ont the inside on the downswing and return the ball square not cutting across the that what matters right?

we have jose maria olazabal – jim furky- and fred couples Im somewhere in between but dont like a super tucked in elbow swing get to flat.
It really depends on the type of player you are. For me it helps me to start my swing square with the ball,elbows tucked,and complete my swing that way. Others may start on the outside of the ball and then square up with it as they follow Through with their shot. To me, i’m more comfortable when im already square with the ball. Plus,this helps keep you concentrated on the downswing and you don’t have to worry about adjustments in the middle of your swing.
